Vericred has built the first multi-carrier, end-to-end quoting, enrollment and member management API solution for Health Insurance and Employee Benefits. With adoption from all of the major medical carriers and overwhelming traction from end-user-facing platforms, our Quoting and Enrollments APIs are set for massive growth and industry disruption.
The role of a GC here will include:
Redrafting of all standard agreements
Review of any customer redlines and negotiation of sticking points.
Review and redlining of carrier agreementsReview, and preferably the standardization, of BAAs
Develop a strategy for data use and data privacy with a nod towards future functionality we seek to enable (i.e. notifications)
Lease with external counsel
Ultimately the justification here is to be able to review and turn customer and carrier agreements around quickly. As we scale to one new carrier agreement per month and likely a similar path on the tech side, the cost in dollars and time to execute these review will be prohibitive.
